Brio – Las Vegas Restaurant

Brio is an excellent choice for a locals Las Vegas restaurant.

Brio means enthusiasm, vivacity and spirit in Italian and is aptly named. Whether you stop in for lunch or dinner, you’ll find it to be a high energy dining establishment. Brio is what I would call upscale casual; an ideal spot for a power lunch or a bite after a round of golf. Have dinner at Brio with friends or family.

Brio is a corporate restaurant; a chain. I don’t usually write about chains. I prefer chef/family owned Las Vegas restaurants, but I have to give props where they’re due and my dining experience at Brio was wonderful. There are many locations throughout the country, but just two here in Vegas and I have dined at both of them. Brio is in Town Square on Las Vegas Blvd S. and the newest  Brio is in Tivoli Village on South Rampart. Dine indoors, or out. You can sit at the bar and eat there if you like too.

The food is delicious!

A Las Vegas restaurant is going to have a lot of competition. We want delicious food we wouldn’t normally make at home and that’s what we found at Brio. We had the Spinach and Artichoke appetizer with flatbread triangles  that were well seasoned and crispy; perfect for dipping. (Everybody is doing a spinach dip these days, but this is one of the best I’ve had.) We followed with a traditional Caesar Salad that was very good and for our lunch we had the Grilled Shrimp with Orzo. What a flavorful dish this was! It had a little spice to it, but not overwhelming. Grilled veggies were mixed in and it had a lemon vinaigrette sauce. I can’t wait to have it again. For dessert we had a Creme Brulee. Have you ever had a bad Creme Brulee? Me neither. Yummy.

Abbondanza!

Which in Italian means an abundance. That’s the perfect word to describe the portions, so be ready to bring home a doggie bag. The sandwiches, salads, and entrees were all very generous size. Brio is big on flavor, had good service, nice atmosphere, and is reasonably priced. They also have drink specials and a very happy Happy Hour. All my Las Vegas locals should check it out.

Tivoli Village

Tivoli Village is a new community of shops, stores and restaurants that is also a fun place to walk around. Check out up coming events.

Town Square

Town Square is loaded with bars, restaurants and shops. It has a movie theater and is just minutes away from the heart of the Strip. There is always a lot of fun things going on.
