Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas – The Cheapest Places to Stay

For a visit to the Electric Daisy carnival Las Vegas the cheapest places to stay weren’t easy to find.  We’ve put in hours of research to find the best deals.

Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas 2013 June 21 – 23

If you check out the EDC website you’ll see deals on rooms with options on packages that include tickets, hotel and shuttle for all three days. I’ve got to tell you that after hours and hours of research those prices are tough to beat. The cheapest package they offer is at Circus Circus for $721.65 for one person or $1,101.42 for 2 people which includes a 3 night stay at Circus Circus, 3 Day General Passes to EDC and Shuttle Pass to and from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for all three days. If you want something a little nicer you can upgrade to packages from the Cosmopolitan, Excalibur, Luxor, Monte Carlo, NYNY, MGM Grand,  Mirage, Mandalay Bay, Aria or the Bellagio which will be the most expensive at $1,778.07 for two people with all the same inclusions as the Circus Circus package for 2.

Dirt Cheap and you better book now!

You can’t change the cost of the EDC tickets,  $326.15 (including fee), so the only way to save any money is on room and transportation. We used the $721.65 package at the Circus Circus (you’ll find it on the EDC website along with all other hotels offering package deals) as the price to beat and this is the absolute cheapest we could find.

Emerald Suites- One Sweet Deal

Emerald Suites

The best way to save is if you travel with a group of four people. If you only have 2 people read on, it’s still the best deal you are going to find. For a three night stay at Emerald Suites (no casino), June 20 – 22, 2013, it’ll only cost $20 per person per night! And it’s a suite which has a living room area and a full kitchen so you can save on dining out too! It’s not the closest location to the Speedway, about a 20 minute drive, not too bad. For this deal to pay off you must have a car. If you were planning to rent one, you may as well just go for the Circus Circus deal which will include a shuttle to and from the EDC for all three days. To park your car at the Speedway will cost about $20 per day (we don’t have the exact amount because we couldn’t get anyone on the phone who knew for sure) divided four ways that’s not bad. So here’s how the numbers work out:

siena suites room

$1,304.60 – tickets to EDC for four people + $240 –  total for 3 night stay for four at Emerald Suites + $60 – approx cost for parking at EDC for 3 days = $1604.60 which comes out to $401.15 per person. If you stay at Circus Circus it would be $550.71 per person, so you’ll save almost $150! The only way to beat this price is to bust out a cardboard pop-up home and cozy up with the homeless folks or sleep in your car.

Siena Suites - Another Sweet Deal!

It’s the same set up as the Emerald Suites for a few bucks more. No casino, but lots of other amenities. With the same calculations as above this comes out to $404.43 per person.

Hotels and Hostels in Las Vegas

Hey, when I said we did research, I meant it. I checked every hostel, hotel and motel in and

room at Sin City Hostel

around town and the next best price was at Sin City Hostel at $15.75 a night per person in a dorm setting, sharing a bathroom. If it were me…..that’d be hell no. Seriously, for literally pennies more you’re getting a suite with full kitchen, two Queen beds, a sitting room and your own damn bath! If you are one of those people who have to check for themselves go to Hostelbookers.com. Every hotel, large and small has raised their rates knowing the EDC is coming to town and last year brought over 230,000 people to Las Vegas. Even the lowliest of hotels Downtown have rates of over $100 per night. Don’t forget to factor in resort fees. For a list of hotels that don’t charge a resort fee go here.

Hangover Alert…..

Hopefully you drink in moderation and pace yourself while you are visiting in Las Vegas, but should you happen to get a little carried away and find yourself with a hangover that threatens to spoil your weekend…….use the money I saved you and call for the Hangover Heaven Bus to come and give you a quick fix. They’ll have you up and partying again in no time!!
