You came to Las Vegas to have fun and here’s your good time itinerary for the most fun things to do in Las Vegas that is guaranteed to give you face cramps from laughing and keep you smiling for your entire stay.
Some of the best comedians in the business headline at Mirage’s Aces of Comedy. You can’t go wrong there with appearances by stars Ray Romano, Kevin James, Jay Leno, Lewis Black and many more. Another, and much less expensive, location for laughs is any one of many comedy clubs that are found at various hotels in Las Vegas. Try a different one every night!
Everybody loves karaoke and there are places to sing all over Vegas. Our top spot for endless fun with a microphone is at Q Studio in Chinatown off of Spring Mountain Rd. While other karaoke hot-spots offer long waits for your turn at the spot light, Q Studio rents you a private room for you and your friends to sing your little hearts out and rock to the beats.
If you’ve never been to a dueling piano bar make it happen on this trip to Las Vegas. There are several to choose from, but the best-of-the-best is at New York New York inside the Bar at Times Square. They really know how to work a room. Get there early and enjoy Happy Hour from 3pm – 7pm and be ready to get loud!! Show starts at 8pm call for reservations.
Indoor Kart Racing
I have yet to meet a guy who has participated in the indoor kart racing that couldn’t wait to do it again. I guess this is something the video game people have figured out a long time ago, hence the huge success of Grand Theft Auto. I’m not saying women don’t have fun, but guys friggin LOVE IT! Try Fast Lap. It seems to be the over-all favorite.
Seriously, there is nothing funnier than seeing your best gal pals swinging around the stripper pole. You don’t need to be on a bachelorette weekend to do it. Any visit to Vegas is a perfect time to grab a pole. Make sure somebody is getting it on video for laughs that will last a lifetime. Here are some choices: Stripper 101, Pole Dancing Las Vegas and Vegas Stripper University.
Oops, I mean Big Elvis. No matter what you call him, the guy is still fat. I’m talking about Pete Vallee who puts on one of the best free shows (over 7,000 performances) in Las Vegas. His Elvis impersonation is spot on and really fun. It’s Vegas. You’ve just got to see Elvis! It’s at Harrah’s Hotel in the Piano Bar.
This Downtown Las Vegas hot spot is one of my absolute favorite places to be with friends. There are free games to play, friendly staff, easy parking ( a big plus downtown), great food, awesome atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks (cheap compared to the Strip) and a perfect place to get the fun times rolling. Read more here.
Take a carnival, food festival, concert and arts exhibition and roll it all into one event and you’ve got First Friday. It’s held the First Friday of each month and is always a fresh experience each time. It is an amazing event that draws thousand of people every month and is worth planning your trip around. It’s a crazy good time.
For all you nightclub fanatics Las Vegas is one of the hottest places to be on earth. The club goers dilemma is always picking which nightclub to go to when you only have 3 days to party and over 30 clubs to choose from. Taking a nightclub tour is not only the solution, it’s also the most fun way to hit up the clubs. You will meet lots of people and the tour guides make sure you have a great night as soon as you are on your way. For guys a big bonus with taking the nightclub tour is it eliminates the big hassle of getting into a club if you don’t have any girls with you. NOTE: I advise against any WALKING (crawl) NIGHTCLUB TOURS. The distances are just a drag when you are wearing your best heels. Get some wheels! Here’s a few to choose from Nite Tours, Party Tours, Jetset VIP.
This is party central for a casual fun time. If you don’t have fun here; it’s not the place that isn’t fun……it’s YOU! Have a fun time every night at Senor Frogs. Great place to party. Food is so-so. Read more here.
Get ready to do battle and have a great time playing laser tag. It’s time to be a ninja/warrior/terminator/super sniper!! It’s the cowboys and indians game of the twenty-first century! Guaranteed fun. Three locations to choose from: Laser Quest, Adventuredome or Battle Blast.
Run, jump and bounce, bounce, bounce! You can even DUNK!! (not at all locations) See what it’s like to dunk like a pro, or just pretend you’re walking on the moon. It’s impossible not to have fun doing this. Flippin Out or try Sky Zone.
Game Works is opening soon (date to be announced) at a new location in Town Square with every type of video arcade games you can imagine. You’ll also find laser tag, billiards and darts too!
There is just nothing funnier than watching a hypnotist mess with people, especially if it’s someone you know. Better wear a pair of Depends for this laugh fest. Here’s a couple to choose from: Marc Savard Comedy Hypnosis, Hypnosis Unleashed or Anthony Cools (this ones R rated).
If you want to dance and party but the club scene is not your thing, the Carnival Court bar at Harrah’s is a perfect alternative. It’s outdoors and if the weather’s right, it’s one of the most fun places to be on the Strip. They have some of THE best flair bartenders who provide non-stop entertainment and there’s live music with a huge dance area. It’s a come-as-you-are kind of place where you can party all night.
