Great eats for cheap at Johnny Smalls inside the Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas.

What a treasure this place is! Small plates & Sushi for small $$$ in a chic setting with excellent service by the friendly staff. The menu selection is wonderfully diversified with cute and catchy names like “Hummus Among Us” dip or” Yay for Satay” fresh water Shrimp. Don’t forget the “Mac & Cheese Daddy” fried mac & cheese patties or “The Finger” Fat Tire ale battered chicken. Lots of fish dishes; Salmon Totty, Blazin Shrimp, Sea Bass Skewers and Street Stand Fish Tacos. Crafty and clever sushi rolls are tasty treats. Try the “Rock & Roll” (hey, it’s the Hard Rock) with Tempura Shrimp, Avocado and a shaved jalapeno spicy mayo. If meat is what you seek try the Braised Short Ribs or “Mighty Balls”, Ground Kobe, Veal and Pork with a Tuscan sauce. There is something for every taste on the menu. Dips, salads, chicken, meat, fish and sushi. You can’t go wrong.

We really enjoyed the food here and ordering lots of small plates is just a fun way to dine. Besides the delicious food and friendly service, the atmosphere is very cool. No cafeteria, buffet kind of feel here. They also have a cocktail menu with specialty drinks that are terrific. I had the Pineapple Crush Mojito. Surprisingly NOT super sweet, just cool and delish. Try it.

You can buy the items individually, but why would you when you can do an all you want Johnny Smalls small plates and sushi for only $24.95. But wait…..it gets better! If you sign up for the Hard Rock Players Card (it only takes a minute or two) you can have the same deal for only $19.95!!

BTW – Check out all the Rock n Roll memorabilia throughout the  hotel. It’s awesome!
