from D.O.C.G (Italian) or Comme Ca (French) with an amazing view from the terrace. Marquee Nightclub is a favorite among locals to dance the night away. “As their slogan states…..Just the Right Amount of Wrong.

Mandalay Bay

For those who want to add even more music to their itinerary a stay at  Mandalay Bay is the solution.  Sure they’ve got lots of lounges; Eyecandy (with interactive touch tables), Mix, THElounge and the Foundation Room, but they also have outstanding concert venues; House of Blues, Mandalay Bay Events Center, Mandalay Bay Theatre and my favorite, Mandalay Beach. Check events calendar and make plans. The pool at Mandalay Bay is more like a grown-ups playground than just a pool. Opening in early March you can float down the “Lazy River” wade in the “Wave Pool” or lay on the “sandy beach”. It’s amazing. Of course they have a day club too; Moorea Beach. You’ve got to stop partying and eat every now and then and the choices at Mandalay Bay are sure to please. Be sure to dine at Aureole’s.

Wynn / Encore

If you’ve got deep pockets and want to party with the elite, take your vacation to the next level and book your stay at either the Wynn or Encore. An indoor walkway connects the resorts so it’s like getting two resorts for the price of one. XS is one of the premier nightclubs in the world with exclusive residencies by Tiesto, Deadmau5 and Steve Aoki for your partying pleasure. Add the super sultry Surrender and Tryst Nightclubs into the mix and you can only be more impressed with your nightlife selections. Encore Beach Club is unrivaled for it’s luxury accommodations and spacious pool. An abundance of restaurants featuring celebrity chefs are located within the Encore or Wynn to satisfy your dining needs.

On a Budget?

If you’re worried your money will run out before your feet want to stop dancing try the Hard Rock Hotel. They invented day clubs in Las Vegas with “Rehab Sundays” and usually have a great stay and play package that includes table service at Vanity Nightclub.

Treasure Island

So the nightclub scene just isn’t your thing. No worries. Treasure Island is your new party destination. The Kahunaville Party Bar features flair bartenders and specialty drinks served up in a party atmosphere that makes it impossible to not have a good time. You’ve also got the Breeze Bar, Isla Tequila Bar (featuring over 100 tequilas),  world famous Senor Frogs, another non-stop party with a staff that keep the good times rolling with music, conga lines and shot girls. Lots of casual dining options, terrific pool, spa and great rooms with reasonable rates.

New York New York

My favorite bar in New York New York  is the Bar at Times Square. The Dueling Piano is always entertaining and with drink and food specials it’s a no brainer good time. If you love beer, you’ll love Pour 24. Watch your favorite game, and sample some of the best American beers. Nine Fine Irishmen has a great Happy Hour Menu and drink specials. Get your party off the ground at Coyote Ugly. Hot female bartenders entertain nightly. Don’t forget to ride the Roller Coaster! For some non-gaming gaming visit the Sporting House Arcade or grab a table and watch sports in one of the best venues in town. Nice rooms, pool, spa and good location.

On a Budget?

Stay Downtown and make a do-it-yourself Pub Crawl. Stay at the Golden Nugget or Plaza and enjoy free live entertainment on Fremont Street nightly. Check out these within-walking-distance local bars: Drink & Drag, Hogs & Heifers, Hennessy’s, Downtown Bar, Beauty Bar, The Griffin, Insert Coins and Don’t Tell Mama.

Over 40 and Fabulous

Bellagio

You’re coming to Las Vegas and want more than just a gaming experience. You want to relax and be pampered. You want to be surrounded by beauty and luxury. You want to experience culinary treasures that you’ll never forget. You’re past the age for the club scene but want a place to enjoy a handcrafted cocktail or a glass of fine wine with a romantic elegant atmosphere. You want……. the Bellagio. This AAA Five Diamond Award winning property is going to make your entire stay a memorable experience. The Dancing Fountains, the Conservatory, Fine Arts Gallery and Lobby are a delight to the senses. The Petrossian Bar, Hyde Lounge and the Lily Bar and Lounge are great places to cocktail and there are more award winning restaurants here than any other hotel in Las Vegas.

Palazzo/Venetian

The Palazzo/Venetian Hotels are all suite Five Diamond Las Vegas sister hotels. Beautiful resorts with amazing rooms. Lots of restaurant options, be it casual or fine dining, can be found as well as a world class spa and a gorgeous pool. The Double Helix Wine & Whiskey Bar is reason enough to stay at the Palazzo. If that doesn’t grab you, maybe the Laguna Champagne Bar is more your style. Home to Phantom of the Opera (closing in September),  Blue Man Group and headline entertainers like Tim Allen, Rita Rudner and David Spade, the Palzzo is sure to keep you entertained. The two hotels are connected by a walk way for twice the options. Take the gondola ride at the Venetian and see the Da Vince Exhibit.

Caesars Palace

The Lobby at Caesars Palace

This mega resort is one of the most iconic in Las Vegas. Caesars Palace has appeared in more movie and TV shows than any other hotel in Las Vegas. With resident artists such as Celine Dion, Elton John, Rod Stuart and soon to be appearing Shania Twain, Caesars is an entertainment destination. There’re great dining options with the two star Michelin Rated Restaurant Guy Savoy and one star Michelin Rated Bradley Ogden. Need to cool down? Pools, pools and more pools; six to choose from. Don’t forget the Forum Shoppes at Caesars; still one of the best shopping experiences in Vegas. Here’s a big plus…..no resort fee is charged at Caesars.

On a Budget?

If you’d like a place that still has outstanding rooms, a great pool, spa and dining options in a hotel that’s easier to get around in; try the Golden Nugget Downtown. It’s a gem.
