The Venetian Hotel & Casino Las Vegas
The Venetian is located on the Strip. This is an all suites hotel with luxurious oversized rooms with a sitting area. The Venetian is an impressive hotel with marble floors, statues and beautifully decorated casino and rooms. It has a world class spa and excellent dining options. Carnevino is a favorite. The Palazzo is it’s sister property and has a walkway connection so you benefit from all the offerings of it as well. The Mirage
Built by Steve Wynn in 1989, the Mirage Hotel & Casino started the trend of mega-resorts on the Strip and still has one of the most popular free attractions in Las Vegas; the erupting “Volcano”. The Mirage has some of the best headline comedians and entertainment on the Strip. The Secret Gardens and Dolphin Habitat is a must for families. Lush grounds and tropical decore make the Mirage a desirable destination.

This off the strip hotel and casino is one of the most popular hotels in Las Vegas for the younger music and concert loving travelers. They have a variety of concert venues, nightclubs, dayclubs and beach parties that are world famous. The restaurants range from fun and flavorful Mexican fare at the Pink Taco to exotic Sushi at Nobu or get a great steak at Rare 120. Mr. Lucky’s has good food for reasonable prices and Johnny Smalls is a personal favorite for small plates and specialty drinks.
A Look at the New York New York Hotel Las Vegas
One look at this hotel and you just can’t resist going there. It’s a mini version of New York located on the Las Vegas Strip. Miniature versions of the Statue of Liberty, the Brookly Bridge and an amazing roller coaster are major attractions at this hotel. The always popular piano bar at Grand Central on the casino floor and the Sporting House Bar & Grill is one of the best places to catch your favorite sports event.
Goodbye Sahara Hotel Las Vegas and Hello Again Soon
The Sahara Hotel, located on the Strip closed on May 16, 2011 after being open 59 years. That’s a long run by Vegas standards. The good news is that a multimillion dollar renovation has been approved for the property and will begin soon with a re-opening in the near future. That’s good news for Las Vegas and travelers.
Luxor Hotel Las Vegas
By far the most uniquely designed hotel on the Strip, the pyramid shaped Luxor has fabulous rooms and has a lot to offer. Home to the Las Vegas comedian icon Carrot Top, the Luxor will keep you entertained during your stay. It’s connected to the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino which has a huge convention center, shops and restaurants. Go online for great ticket offers to shows and restaurants at the Luxor. Be sure to see “Bodies: The Exhibit” and the Titanic artifacts exhibit.
Luxury Vacation in Las Vegas
For a luxury vacation in Las Vegas where the sky is the limit there are many options. Las Vegas is loaded with luxury. The Palms has some amazing theme suites that have been featured on many TV shows. Get one with a basketball court, pool table, wet bar, bowling alley and private infinity pool. The Sky Lofts at the MGM have luxury accommodations that include private pool, butler and personal chef. The Bellagio has villas that are a home away from home with every amenity that you can think of. The everyday suites at the Venetian and the Palazzo made me feel like I was in the lap of luxury, and the Wynn and Encore have what it takes to make your stay fit for the most wealthy of guests. Don’t count out Caesars Palace. They were the original high roller destination and can still compete when it comes to luxury.

The city of Las Vegas Nevada is a place filled with lights, gambling, action, nightlife and fun. There are many free attractions, museums, hiking, sight-seeing and great places to dine that are home to world famous chefs and award-winning shows and entertainment.
