The Bar Scene is Alive and Kickin’
Vegas is full of choices and when it comes to finding a place to party that’s just right for you we’ve got an endless menu. Here are a couple of choices for you to consider. Just to show you how diverse this town is we chose polar opposites. A Biker bar and a Nerd bar.
Hogs & Heifers- Downtown Las Vegas
If you want to go out for a couple of beers and show off that new Harley, get your leather jacket on, bring some attitude and ride your “hog” over to Hogs & Heifers for some serious Las Vegas night life biker style. The bar is world famous with two locations, NY and Vegas and was the inspiration for the movie “Coyote Ugly”. The music (classic country and southern rock) is loud and so are the barmaids. There is dancing on the bar nightly by the barmaids who believe less is better when it comes to uniforms. Leave a memento for them to remember you by; your bra nailed to the wall (not your Victoria Secret of course). They’ve got all sorts of events going on at Hogs & Heifers; Industry Night, Blues, Brews & BBQ’s, Happy Hours, live music and Charity events. Yeah, charity events, Biker’s have big hearts. This is a great place to be especially during Bike Fest which is in October. Party loud and proud!!
Insert Coins- Downtown Las Vegas
Finally, Las Vegas night life for Nerds. Everybody needs to party and if you’re a game nerd, a video game junkie, or you’re hot for nerds, Insert Coins is going to be your new party central. Now grown-up game nerds can get out of the house, have a beer, and actually socialize with live people while still enjoying their passion for games. Insert Coins opened in April 2011 and has been a big success and a unique addition to Las Vegas night life. There are video games and flat screens everywhere. Relax in a big comfortable lounge area, pick up a controller and a beer and let the games begin! A DJ and dance floor complete the experience. It’s a great place to do a birthday party and they offer table and bottle service as well. Check their calendar for competitions and events. GAME ON!!
