Las Vegas Shopping-Bargain Hunting

Shopping for bargains in Las Vegas is my favorite indoor sport and I’m a champ. It takes a keen eye, determination, stamina, experience and most importantly……comfortable shoes. Let me share with you some of my best discoveries for bargains in Las Vegas.

Fallas Paredes

It ain’t pretty, but the savings are beautiful!! Fallas Paredes has as close to wholesale pricing as you can get every day. There are several locations in Las Vegas and in California, Texas, and Arizona. The store is about the size of a Target. They sell Men’s, Women’s, Juniors, children and infant wear at remarkable discounts. I’m talking NAME BRANDS. They also have housewares, toys, games, etc. The best buys are the children’s clothes. You’ll find Carter’s and Disney brand outfits that are adorable for less than $10. There are some drawbacks. They aren’t located in the classiest of neighborhoods, so if you’re a snobby shopper go to the Forum Shops at Caesars and pay full price. There are no dressing rooms at Fallas Paredes and you can return merchandise for store credit only. I have shopped at Fallas Paredes for myself, (scored some awesome Apple Bottom jeans) my daughters and my husband. I walk in there sporting my $400 Dior sunglasses, and my Louis Vuitton purse on my shoulder and grab whatever bargains I can get my hands on. Hey, I’ve got to make up for the shades and the Louis somewhere!

Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas- Primm

The Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas are about a 35 minute drive from the Strip and if the only store that was there was the “Last Call, Neiman Marcus”, it would be worth the drive. There are many other wonderful stores to do some shopping at this outlet, but I rarely make it out of Neiman Marcus before maxing out my credit cards. There is a Coach outlet, Betsy Johnson, DKNY, Tommy Bahama, G, by Guess and many others. Check it out!

Las Vegas Premium Outlets

Shopping the Las Vegas Premium Outlets is awesome, but you need to know your prices. Just because a store is located in an “Outlet”, doesn’t mean they have bargain prices. It could just be a regular store. They have two locations. The largest of the two is Las Vegas Premium Outlet South at the south end of Las Vegas Blvd, about 10 minutes past the Luxor and has better parking than the north location and is an enclosed shopping mall. Some of the designers they have are Sean John, True Religion, Micheal Kors, Coach, and Guess Factory. The northern location, Las Vegas Premium Outlet North is just west of Downtown Vegas, by the World Market Center off the I15 at Charleston. The parking sucks, it’s not enclosed, which means shopping there in the summer can be brutal, but the North location does have  a better selection of designer brands. You’ll find Bebe, AIX Armani Exchange, Ann Taylor, Calvin Klein, Juicy Couture and Brooks Brothers. I recommend that you check their store listings online before you go. Happy bargain hunting.
