Las Vegas Strip- Where to People Watch

Millions of people come to visit the Las Vegas Strip from all over the world which makes people watching especially fun. Where’s the best place to be a voyer? Check out these hot spots:

Mon Ami Gabi- Paris

This french bistro at the Paris Hotel has sidewalk dining which makes for an excellent street level view of tourists and passersby. The bonus here is that you have a terrific view of the Fountains at Bellagio just across the street and the food is divine. Have their signature cocktail; the French Kiss Martini while you soak up all the ambience of Las Vegas.

Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo Cantina- Planet Hollywood

If some Mexican food, rock n roll, and a great margarita is more your style, the Cabo Wabo Cantina may be the perfect place for you to check out the beat on the street. The help is friendly. The food is yummy and the music is rockin. Located in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, with plenty of shaded seating to eat and watch or just hang outdoors with a drink. Definitely a hot spot. Bonus here; plenty of great shopping in the Miracle Mile Shops.

Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville- Flamingo Hotel

Home of the “It’s 5 O’clock Somewhere Bar”, Margaritaville is about as laid back as you can get. There’s plenty of outdoor room to check out the vibe on the Strip. If there isn’t enough people outside, take a look inside. Always full of people, Margaritaville doesn’t disappoint. Bonus here: Jimmy just opened the Magaritaville casino which is an extension of his restaurant and still located within the Flamingo. Watch people on the strip, gamble, eat, drink……they’ve got it all.

Serendipity 3

Located outside the Forum Shops at Caesars this casual dining experience is unique, delicious and right on the Strip. This is not the easiest place to get to, but it is worth the effort. Open morning, noon, and night. Serendipity serves up delicious casual style food and specialty cocktails but their claim to fame is the oh so fabulous sweets and treats. The Frozen Hot Chocolate is a signature item as well as the can’t resist’em Sundaes. It’s a great place to people watch but beware…….if your having a Sundae, you might be the one being watched!!

Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro

Morels is located in the Palazzo Resort & Casino and is an ideal spot to watch people on the Las Vegas Strip. Inside the restaurant is a small bar, a small seating area for you to enjoy a glass of wine or cocktail, and a patio with a bird’s eye view of the Strip. I’d like to tell you to have dinner here but based on my experience at Morels I have to advise a glass of wine and the view over an actual dinner. The bonus of watching people here is that you are across the street from TI (Treasure Island) and will have the best seat in Las Vegas to watch the “Siren’s Show”. Nothing better than having a drink across from a pirate ship matie!
