The Best Places to eat on Mother’s Day in Las Vegas 2012

Here’s a list of the best places to eat on Mother’s Day in Las Vegas 2012. Where ever you decide to go MAKE RESERVATIONS!!!

Alize – Palms

I don’t know why, but a great view always makes everything even better. Alize is always on the list of the best places to eat in Las Vegas for good reason. It’s delicious and the service is second to none. Click here for menu.

Aureole’s – Mandalay Bay

This restaurant is always an excellent choice for great food and service. If Mom is a big fan of wine she’ll be impressed by the very extensive wine list as well as their unique way of retrieving it from the two-story wine tower. They use “wine angels” who are hoisted by cable up the massive tower and gracefully retrieve the proper bottle. Cool!  Click here for menu.

Bar Masa – Aria

If there’s one place in town that could be crowned the absolute BEST PLACE FOR SUSHI it would be Bar Masa at Aria. Better bring your credit card. The best isn’t cheap, but Mom deserves the best! Click here for menu.

Bradley Ogden – Caesars

Las Vegas is just loaded with celebrity chef restaurants and all I can say is, “Are we lucky or what?!” Bradley Ogden is a great restaurant that brings American cuisine to a whole new level. Awesome! Click here for menu.

Carnevino – Venetian

Steaks and Italian food? That’s a no brainer of a terrific meal. Carnevino is one great restaurant that has all the best Italian comfort food and steaks and chops to please our inner carnivore. Love it! Click here for menu.

Comme Ca

Comme Ca – Cosmopolitan

Excellent food and an outstanding view of the Strip puts this French Restaurant on our list of recommendations. Click here for menu.

Eiffel Tower Restaurant – Paris

Nothing makes food taste even better than a great view to go along with it. The restaurant at the top of the Eiffel Tower has exceptional views and delicious food. It’ll be a memorable dinner for Mom. Click here for menu.

Lakeside at the Wynn

This is just a beautiful setting for a restaurant inside a beautiful hotel and the seafood selection here is wonderful. That’s a recipe for a great evening. Click here for menu.

Mon Ami Gabi – Paris

Whether you choose to dine “al freso” and watch the beautiful Bellagio Fountains across the street or dine inside; you’ll enjoy every bite of your menu selection. Click here for menu.

Picasso – Bellagio

picasso at bellagio

This restaurant  is the stuff that legends are made of. Picasso is an eleven time recipient of the AAA Five Diamond Award and has a  wine cellar that is quite extensive. Great cuisine and actual works of art by Picasso are on display. WOW! Click here for menu.

Restaurant Guy Savoy – Caesars

Is this restaurant good? Let’s just say that if Chef Guy Savoy were an athlete he’d be Wayne Gretzsky, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Babe Ruth……well you get the picture. Chef Savoy has won more credits and accolades than one can count. So, make a reservation already! Click here for menu. BTW Guy is pronounced the French way…..it rhymes with key not pie.

Rick Moonen’s RM Seafood – Mandalay Bay

Rick Moonen’s RM Seafood is unique. They offer two styles of dining within the one location. You can go casual and dine downstairs, or go upscale and dine upstairs. Either way you’ll have a wonderful dining experience. Click here for menu.

Sensi – Bellagio

This is a restaurant for all the senses. It has an exhibition kitchen with five different cooking stations. The menu is very eclectic and changes frequently. The Crispy Shrimp appetizer is to die for and if you don’t try the Nan Bread you are missing out on something wonderful. Try the Asian Lobster or Miso Salmon. Sensi also has some terrific cocktails that’ll be a treat for Mom. Get her the Black Crush; made with fresh berries it’s delish.  Click here for menu.

Tao at Venetian

Tao – Venetian

Asian food at it’s finest in a chic, sexy and sophisticated atmosphere is how I’d describe Tao. You can do lots of small plates here which makes it even more fun if you have a group of 4 or more. Try everything! They also do Sake Flights. Click here for menu.

Vic & Anthony’s Steak House – Golden Nugget

If steak is what Mom craves this Downtown destination will please her palate for sure. Vic & Anthony’s is one of the best steakhouses in the country. The atmosphere is “Old School Cool” with background music by Frank, Dino, Sammy, Nat King Cole and other back-in-the-day favorites.  She’ll love it. Click here for menu.

Yellowtail – Bellagio

Although we love the sushi at Bar Masa, I also enjoy the cuisine at Yellowtail. Check out this menu and see what catches your eye. The decor is very inviting as well. Click here for menu.

Try Something Different – The Walking Gourmet

Instead of the same old, same old, take Mom on a culinary adventure with The Walking Gourmet. Choose from several tour options for a unique Mother’s Day dining experience. I’d definitely go with the “Shop & Dine Tour”……you’re shopping (with a gift card that you would supply), you’re eating…..winner! The “Stip-Tacular a La The Palazzo” does sound awfully yummy too.

Great Neighborhood Restaurants

If the thought of going to the Strip or Downtown makes you cringe, try one of these restaurants on Mother’s Day:

Sunset & Vines – Lake Las Vegas

Great food, great setting and very reasonable prices. Love this place. Menu

Marche Bacchus – The Lakes

This restaurant has been a favorite to locals for years. Delicious food, excellent cheese platters and outstanding wines for about half the price of most places. Menu

Grape Street Cafe –  W Cheyenne

This local restaurant is my favorite place on earth for Eggplant Parmigiana. Nice atmosphere and a decent wine list for reasonable prices. I also enjoy the selection of wine flights. It’s alway fun to try small samples of several wines and compare them. Menu
