As part of the “Wynn Social Club” (home to XS, Tryst, Encore Beach Club and Surrender), Surrender Nightclub inside the Encore is one of the top nightclubs in Las Vegas, and much of that is due to the talent they bring in to DJ the nights away. When EDM started to become more popular a couple years ago, Surrender was one of the first nightclubs in town to take advantage of the fact that EDM was really trending and they began to book big names like Steve Aoki and Afrojack. As soon as word got out that Surrender was a hot spot, locals and EDM aficionados flocked to the Encore to see what the fuzz was all about and Surrender did not disappoint, if anything they took a hint and began to book even more big DJ names to the point where every week there was a treat waiting for you at Surrender.
Since then, Surrender continues to be a big contender in Vegas nightlife. If you’re an EDM fan, Surrender is a guaranteed fun time now hosting big names like Above and Beyond, Avicii, Bassnectar, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Diplo, Knife Party, Nero, Skrillex, Steve Angello, and the list goes on! How lucky are we as Vegas locals that we have a place like Surrender that brings in all this talent from all over the world for us to enjoy! I feel spoiled, and I like it. Many folks around the country have to wait for huge festivals to see their favorite DJs or wait for them to come to their home town, but we get to enjoy them so often, right here. There’s a reason why Surrender’s tag line is “So many electronic artists, it should be criminal.”
Surrender Nightclub is elegant with 6,000 square feet of indoor space and a long rectangular dance floor that opens up to the 60,000 square feet of outdoor pool area that becomes the Encore Day Club during pool season where you and your friends can party in your very own luxurious bungalow or cabana or even partake in Splash Dance: a night time pool party where you can bring your swimmers and party poolside. During the cold months however, extra space is added to the indoor area with a tent set up that also adds more tables and dance space. There are three full bars at Surrender: one indoors, one along the indoor/outdoor border, and one outdoors across the pool by the gambling tables; all which ensure you won’t have to wait forever to order a drink.
Wednesdays are industry nights and ladies and gentlemen are admitted free with local ID and a big name DJ is guaranteed to be booked nearly every single Wednesday. Needless to say, Surrender treats their locals very nicely. Surrender is open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10:30pm-4am, you can reach them at 702-770-7300, or you can visit their website at www.surrendernightclub.com to find out more about the DJs and their event calendar.
