Don’t Tell Mama is where to go in Las Vegas for the best show you’ll never have to pay for. Tell everyone!
Don’t Tell Mama
Don’t Tell Mama is a little piano bar that is on the Fremont East District Downtown and is like no other place I’ve ever been. Just one grand piano, one piano player, and two or three barmaids who serve cocktails as well as songs. These girls have AMAZING voices and the piano player is no slouch either. Jennifer and Dre have so much talent, the girls will blow you away. Not only is Dre a powerhouse of a singer, she’s dynamite on the piano. Go to YouTubeand take a listen.
Sing! Sing! Sing!
You’re more than welcome to sing if you’d like but be warned…… the staff sing so well it’s pretty intimidating. This is no Karaoke bar. They’re happy to take requests and you should be happy to tip them a few bucks. Just when you think this place couldn’t get any better, it does. Turns out people that sing for a living like to sing when they’re just kickin it. It’s who they are and what they love. About 10pm or so a lot of performers from around town pop in for a drink and a turn on the mic. You’ll hear a wonderfully eclectic mix of songs, from a wonderfully eclectic mix of people. Tunes from Broadway to Rap, top 40′s to Sinatra and everything in between. What an incredible experience to see performers sing for the sheer pleasure of doing what they love to do. It gives me goose-bumps writing about it. Treat yourself and go to Don’t Tell Mama.
